  • How often should I clean my septic tank?

    Mondo Septic & Drainage recommends every year.  Cleaning every year ensures longevity to older systems.  Newer systems (year 2000 +) has an outlet filter which can cause a back-up if not cleaned every year.

  • What size is my tank?

    Tank size ranges generally depend on number of bathrooms.  Guidelines are typically:


    • 3 Bedroom - 1,000 gallon tank
    • 4-5 bedroom - 1,250 gallon tank
    • 5-6 bedroom - 1,500 gallon tank
    • 6+ Bedroom - 2,000 gallon tank

    *You can also find out by calling your local health department or when you get your tank cleaned.

  • Where is my septic tank located?

    Inquire with your local health department for your septic as-built (septic diagram)  You can, also, call us and we can located for you (costs may apply)

  • What do I need soil testing for?

    New home building, additions, pools, decks, out buildings, building lots, etc.

  • What does a B100 include?

    A B100 includes

    -inspection

    -test holes

    -town fees

    -an approved drawing from the town
